LOCAL BANKS
We have found recently that a lot of the Spanish Banks are not cashing Travellers Cheques of any kind even with a passport. We normally take UK Bank cash cards and access our funds as and when required. There is a cashpoint just around the corner from the house. Care with withdrawals as you are charged a minimum handling fee.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKING
The booking form must be completed and signed by the party leader (the client) who must be over 18 years of age. The signing of the booking form shall be deemed to constitute the acceptance of the booking Terms and Conditions by the client on behalf of all those named on the booking form.
The terms and conditions will still apply even if for some reason the booking form has not been completed by the client e.g. in the case of a late booking requested by telephone, which necessitates immediate commitment. The booking is not accepted until the completed and signed Booking Form together with the appropriate deposit has been received and acknowledgement/receipt has been issued. If the booking is not accepted for any reason the deposit will be refunded in full.
Amendments to, or cancellation of a booking by the client will be subject to the provisions of the cancellations section of the Terms And Conditions. (below)
The accommodation cannot be shared, assigned or sublet and only the persons shown on the booking form are permitted to stay in the property.
Persons / children under the age of 18 years are not acceptable unless accompanied by parents or an adult.
No pets or Smoking permitted.

PAYMENT
A 25% Deposit should be paid to confirm the booking, and full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the holiday date. Failure to comply with the payment procedure will be deemed to be a cancellation by the client and will be subject to the cancellation charges as detailed in the cancellation section. (below)

THE RENTAL PERIOD
Reservations usually run from Saturday to Saturday, other than by previous arrangement.The house is available for occupation from 4pm (local time) on the day of arrival until 11am (local time) on the day of departure.

AMENDMENTS
Whenever possible, any amendments to the booking requested after the booking has been confirmed will be accommodated.

THE SECURITY DEPOSIT
The client is solely responsible for any damages or breakages that may be caused to the property or to its contents during their stay. Therefore a £50.00 per week refundable security deposit is payable with the final balance, and will be held against such an eventuality. The house is inspected both before and after each occupation and upon confirmation that all is in order and all the house / pool rules have been adhered to and the keys returned to us, the deposit will be refunded in full.

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
Any cancellation by the client must be in writing directly to us, cancellation by telephone will not be accepted.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following charges will apply:-

Less than 8 weeks 100% of all costs (unless we are able to resell)

Note: All clients are recommended to have adequate Travel Insurance that may cover the cost of cancellation for reasons beyond your control.
Cancellation by us : In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control, necessitate cancellation of the booking, we will refund all monies paid by the client (without interest, compensation or consequential loss of any kind.)

COMPLAINTS
Should a problem arise whilst on holiday relating to the premises, immediately contact us or our managing agent who will seek to resolve matters speedily.

HOLIDAY DESCRIPTION
Whilst all the information supplied in the Holiday details is deemed to be correct and to the best of our knowledge, it is understood that the information supplied is for guidance purposes only and does not form part of any contract.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Although every effort is made to ensure the house is in perfect condition, we cannot accept responsibility for third party claims, accidents, damage to or loss of property or any expenses incurred for any reason. Nor can liability be accepted for injury as a result of an accident.

HOUSE AND GARDENS
We ask that you respect our house and adhere to pool and garden rules. Children must be accompanied by the pool at all times. Please also consider the neighbours (many of whom live here all year round) when arriving at the house early in the morning or late at night. The management committee in Spain have the right to evict any client who will not adhere to the rules.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
1. E-mail us to check availability of your chosen dates if not already done.
2. A provisional booking can be made by e-mail and will remain valid for 36 hours.
3. Any booking must be confirmed by forwarding the completed Booking form together with the non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost.
4. The full balance together with security deposit (see Terms and Conditions) MUST be received at least 8 weeks prior to departure.
5. For bookings within 8 weeks of departure, the full amount is payable together with the security deposit at the time of booking.
6. All payments to be in pounds sterling please and cheques made payable to: "Mrs L Griffin"
7. Receipts will be issued at each stage of all monies received.
8. Direction will be forwarded following payment of the balance with the house keys to be sent 1 week prior to your trip.
